Q. I am not a Christian. How can I find out more about what this means?
You might begin by reading The Story online. After that, any of our pastors or members would delight in talking with you and helping you explore what it means to believe in and follow Jesus Christ.

Q. Why are there two different worship styles?
We are at a point in our growth that requires us to have multiple worship services due to facility limitations. And we are a very diverse community of believers - many prefer the classical approach to worship while others prefer a more contemporary approach. One is not better than another but because people enjoy both, at the present time we offer both. (Click HERE to see some pictures of each service)

Q. What about dress expectations?
There are none. Some people enjoy a more formal dress attire and some a more casual attire. Whichever is more comfortable to you and helps you to engage in worship better is fine.

Q. What can you tell me about the pastor?
Pastor Marc Francis is from Durham. He attended Northern High School. He is a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill and a beloved Tar Heel fan. He is married to his wife Pam, has two children, Ben and Rae, one daughter-in-law Tera, and two grandchildren Eli and Haddon. You can read more about him by clicking HERE.

Q. Where Do I Park?
There are two entrances to the Ridgecrest parking lot - one on Milton Rd. and one on Madden Rd.  If you enter from the Madden Rd. entrance and look to the right you will see the Gym where the Exalt service is held at 10:45 AM.  If you look to the left you will see the Sanctuary where the 9:30 AM traditional service is held. The covered double door entrance in front of you will lead you directly into the Children's wing. If you are new to Ridgecrest, we have Guest Parking spaces available for you at both of our entrances. Watch for the signs as you drive on to our campus.

Q. What Sunday School CONNECT Group Should I Attend?
You can see a list of CONNECT Groups HERE. Feel free to look through the classes and see which time and age group you feel you may be a good fit for you. You can also e-mail Shay Reyner at sreyner@ridgecrest.cc for more information regarding our Sunday School CONNECT Groups.  And on Sunday morning there are plenty of people in the hallways to help you find your way around!

Q. How do I  become a member of Ridgecrest?
There are only 2 “requirements” for membership: 1) A relationship with God established through faith in the cross-centered work of Jesus Christ, and 2) A personal testimony of this faith demonstrated through believer’s baptism by immersion.

The first step in the membership process is to take the Membership Matters Seminar. This is a 2.5 hour seminar that will help you understand who Ridgecrest is and what it means to be a member. These are offered on a regular basis. Watch the Sunday bulletin for information about the next one.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.”
