Our annual Kid’s Fishing Expo will be June 1 starting at 8 AM. Fishing, prizes, food, blow-up games, archery, and lots of other kid oriented stuff. A good time for the whole family. Invite your neighbors.

GRIEF SUPPORT: Heartland Hospice is sponsoring a Grief support group here at Ridgecrest beginning on Thursday, May 9th, at 10:00am. This group will meet the second and fourth Thursdays each month in room 509 across from the church office. This group is about supporting those who have experienced loss in some shape or form. If you or someone you know has experienced loss, no matter how recently, please join us and encourage them to attend these meetings. Helping one another is the best way to journey through grief.
VBS 2019 – July 8th - 12th (9AM - 12Noon) – The Incredible Race
We are very excited about VBS 2019! The theme for this summer is "The Incredible Race." Join us each day as we study God's Word, play games, make crafts, learn music, and more. Stop by the volunteer registration table this Sunday or contact Joe Yandle and Julie Keeton to sign up to help at VBS.

DURHAM RESCUE MISSION
* 2019 Spring victory Graduation, May 21st at 10:00 am at Main Campus. Need guests to attend and encourage the new graduates and a sponsor for the lunch. Approximately 250 individuals attend the lunch.
* Adopt-A-Room Good Samaritan Inn Renovation. Room furnishings, and labor are needed. A complete “Home” for a woman and her family is estimated to cost $10,000 - this includes electrical, plumbing, and renovation costs along with fixed furniture costs of Bunkbeds, guard rails, dresser drawers, mattresses, and flooring.

Pregnancy Support Services - A Baby Bottle Fundraising campaign benefiting Pregnancy Support Services (PSS) will be held from Mothers Day through Fathers Day. You will have the opportunity to pick up a baby bottle each Sunday during this month. The bottles will be in the foyer outside the sanctuary and in the fellowship hall. Please take the bottles home and fill it with silver change. Bills or checks are fine as well! All baby bottles are to be returned to the church on or before June 16th.
PSS is also planning for a Durham satellite office The following items are needed: New or gently used maternity clothes (large and plus size), Bibs, Diapers (size 1 or 2), Baby wipes, Baby wash and shampoo, Boys and girls towel sets, Girls onesies (0-12 months), Boys and girls sleepers (0-6 months), Burp cloths.
